For months I've had a regular period, with a 32 day cycle. My last normal period was December 2nd 2010, with my next cycle being due January 3rd 2011. The time I would have conceived would have been around the 20th or 21st of December as my husband & I had sex the late evening/early morning of the 19th/20th. According to a calculator online that alone was a 26% chance of getting pregnant that day alone, which also served as the highest percentage of the month. Also gestation calculators have said that my cycles conception date was the 21st of December. So it all seems as if the math is pointing toward pregnancy.
As for symptoms, the week of Christmas I was feeling nauseous, needing more sleep, bloated, frequently urinating (every hour-two hours), appetite changes (not hungry for days), tender breasts, and odd sensations in my abdomen which increased when my puppy would lay on or near my abdominal area. That went on until around the 28th, when I started keeping track of symptoms as I started feeling pain. Then evening of the 28th I felt cramping in my lower back (much like I get the day before my period) and it almost felt like I began my cycle so I checked and there was no blood, not even spotting. I went home and shortly after I began feeling a little queasy along with my stomach just feeling off and some very mild cramping. After some time I finally managed to fall asleep. The next morning I woke up full blown nauseous and the smell of food, specifically while being made, only increased that feeling. All Wednesday I had bouts of cramps, which were around a 3-4, as opposed to the normal 7-10s I experience monthly. Thursday morning (12/30/2010) at about 3am, on one of my frequent trips to the bathroom I noticed spotting. Thinking my period was arriving I put a pad on and continued on for a few hours before going to bed. When I woke up there was still only the blood from when I first put the pad on (since it folds and touches you at the initial set up) and I continued to spot on and off all day, with the cramping and nausea the same as the day before. Friday I was still spotting and mid day it picked up to a very light bleeding (still none of it touching the pad throughout the day) with my cramps now being more moderate in the level of pain, but still nowhere close to their normal pain level. Then as Saturday approached it started out with light bleeding and slowed to resemble more of a spotting, with the cramps decreasing in terms of pain but coming and going mire frequently instead of lingering. My stomach was in a state of discomfort/uneasiness, bordering toward queasy. Sunday (01/02/2011) was the same as Saturday had been but with the cramps subsiding almost entirely and leaving me with an uneasy stomach feeling in its place. Monday I started out spotting and it increased to a light bleeding that once again did not hit the pad at all, and mid day turning back to spotting. That night is also the beginning of my stomach feeling uneasy a few hours before bed, and u was just not comfortable and made it hard to fall asleep. The beat way to describe the sensation is a dull ache mixed with a bit of being queasy, and it was often accompanied by lower back pain that began at a 5-7. At times I'd feel a pain in my ribs and/or side which was sort of like a stretching type pain. Finally Tuesday 01/04/2011 I was down to a very minimal spotting on and off, down to nothing. The next day I awoke to a terrible lower back pain registering easily at a 10 and bringing tears to my eyes despite my high pain tolerance. That pain persisted for hours, not letting up until the late evening.
Normally day 1 and 2 of my period are fairly heavy, passing mass quantities of tissue. Day 3 is a light to moderate flow with moderate passing of tissue, with days 4 & 5 being moderate toward heavy. Then days 6-7 are light bleeding toward spotting. With this bleeding (earlier than my expected cycle) all together it did not equal as much blind as my lightest day and I passed practically no tissue. One day I passed around a dozen pin head sized pieces of tissue, another day a dime sized piece and the 3rd time I passed tissue being around the size of a nickel. I was reading that decidual bleeding is the slight passing of tissue before the placenta and lining are fully attached, caused by hormones being out of whack. With me passing such minimal tissue and blood I was thinking that could be what I experienced, but I know its also a chance of being an abnormal extremely light period. With that info I was hoping someone should shed some light on my situation since I'm uninsured and walkins aren't for half a week now.
The last few days I've had weird sensations in my abdomen, uneasy stomach when I wake up and back pain both at night and in the morning as well. The lower back pain is becoming more and more persistent, or so it seems.
I did go to a non-medical facility on January 3rd for a pregnancy test and the lady told me it was "mostly negative" (any idea what that means btw), but due to not passing tissue she recommend I come back in a week for another test and try to see an OB GYN if possible. Also, with decidual bleeding being a possibility my hormones could have messed with the test, as well as the blood in the cup since dummy me didn't wipe first.
