My Ct scan said no no adnexal mass or pelvic free fluid identified. It also said uterus and adnexa stable. Does that mean it is okay? I have searched everywhere and cannot find an answer. Doctor didn’t answer when asked. Thank you.
An "adnexal mass" would be something like a fibroid, ectopic pregnancy, or tumor; it's just a broad term for various kinds of lumps that might be in a uterus. They're saying there is nothing like that in your uterus.
They said I had complex cyst in my ovaries but then listed it as a mass. They never answered about the complex cyst at all which is what the scan was for. That part made no sense
In your original question, the report just was talking about your uterus. That's obviously a different body part than an ovary, and if they were saying there's nothing unusual found in the uterus, that's what they were talking about (the uterus).
If you have a cyst in your ovary, that is going to be somewhere else in the report, as long as they looked at your ovary.
If there is nothing at all in your report about your ovary or the cyst in your ovary, call your doctor's office and ask them what was found regarding the ovary.
