I have a white vaginal opening

The opening of my vagina is white, not the lips but the vagina itself, its been like this for a few months and the doctor said it was a yeast infection. I used the medication and it was fixed but a few days it came back and after 4 months I went back and got the medication again, once again it worked for only a few days. I never had sex so this isnt an STD, any advice or know anything about this?
