Help needed!!

So I'm 18. I had been having this weird itchiness around my vaginal area and it slightly felt like burning. I told my mom I had a rash and she said she'll check, so she did. she looked and she seemed shocked as to what she had seen. It looked like this whitish clumpy discharge with no smell. She said it was all around my vaginal area inside.. Not on the labia or anything just inside. I'm scared and I don't know what to think; I've been researching all night and I just can't stop thinking about it. I bought clotramizole, my mom was scared to use the tube. So she inserted it a little bit and put the cream through there. Should I be scared? What is this whitish clumpy discharge I have... Please help..
