Possible pregnancy?

I have had the Merina IUD in place for about 1 1/2 years.  Last time having sex, my partner felt the IUD and I have been spotting/bleeding since.   I have no pain, no uncomfortableness, nothing except spotting. Is there a possibility the IUD got dislodged and I could get pregnant?

I have had the more a iud since June 18, 2012. I have had very sore nipples for the past 3 days, some pain and "enlargement/bump" in my lower abdomin, and some other common pregnancy symptoms. I took a home pregnancy test that said negative tonight, and shortly (almost immediately) after taking the hpt I had what seemed to milk leak from both nipples. I'm sorry if this is too much information, but I'm a bit confused! My first child is 20 months old, and I took four negative pregnancy tests with her as well as a negative blood test from the hospital. Then, two weeks later I took another hpt and it was positive proving that I was pregnant the whole time. My mom is also the one that looked at me and told me I was pregnant with the first child (from before the first test), and she is telling me I am pregnant now. This all sounds a little de-ja-vu to me, but what are the odds if it happening twice in a row like that? My fiancé and I never use protection because we didn't think that you could get pregnant with the Mirena in. Could I be pregnant? Could it be too soon to tell whether I'm pregnant or not like with my daughter? Should I call the doctor even though I don't have a positive test in hand (I was high risk the first time)? SOMEONE HELP ME, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

Well ladies., im in the same boat!! I've had the mirena since January 2010 after i had my daughter. I went about a year and a half without a period. I spotted alot and had abdominal pain during sex with my husband. Oh, i've even felt it during sex and it really hurts. I ve been sick lately, eating everything in sight, and i even have the "pouch" at the bottom of my abdomen! My husband even says       " your pregnant"

Hi, I was reading the form looking for other women who have become pregnant on the IUD.
MY STORY: After my daughter was born 2 1/2 years ago my husband and I decided for me to have a 5 year mirena inserted. It has worked fine and I always preached it up. Lately, I was having all the s&s of preg, so i took a hpt. It was positive. I went to emerg, hey did a urine and it was positive. They drew blood it was positive. The did an internal ultrasound and found that I was pregnant and that the mirena was still perfectly in place. The OB removed it but told me I may miscarry. It is possible, I suggest to get it checked asap because if left unchecked it could cause infection.
Thank you.

Hi any comments would be great as I have been slightly worried, I have had the mirena for about a year now I have had a couple of times where I have had a bleed but nothing major.  I have been bleeding now for the past 4 days quite heavy and it has clots in it as well (sorry for to much info) and I have been getting quite a lot of abdominal pain (like a period but heavier).  I am worried about being pregnant etc has anyone else experienced this? My partner also complains about 'feeling it' is this normal?

Mileysmomma08. You are most likely not pregnant my period stopped and I did not have one for 3 years with the Mirena.

Rasa25 - this is normal and in time it will stop and you may not have any periods. Everyone is different.

Yes it is possible. He probably felt the stings, my husband feels them all the time. (Complains about it as well). Any way I bleed everytime we have intercourse since I've had my IUD (Feb.) I'm not sure the doctors have had no answers for me. I wish you luck!
