im 27 years old I started depo after I had my second son in 2008, I had my last shot in june 2012 and was do for my next in sept 2012, and never went it took me 9 months to get my period back and its a very very light period, and no cramping, it started yesterday, I don't even know im bleeding tell I go to restroom and wipe other then wiping I wouldn't even know, that's how light it is. I have looked on a lot of sites and everones having heavy periods and a lot of cramping, no ones having the problem im having. I thought I share my story, and if anyone is having the same problem I like to know

While some people don't get periods while on depo some do continue and some just have spotting at random point in the month or what they call break through bleeding (BTB). When I was on depo the first month I did have an irregular period during the days my period was to come after I didn't have any periods. Also after you stop using depo it will take a while for your periods to become normal or start.
