Is it possible to get pregnant while having an abnormal period?

I bleed 90% of the year and it's pretty heavy. I stop for 1-2 days every few months. My husband and I havw been trying for the past 2 years and no luck. I've tried 2 OB-GYN; one said I was normal the other said I was abnormal.

You had a doctor say that is normal?  No, that' not normal to bleed 90% of the time.  That's an issue that should be resolved.  Not just to get pregnant but because it's not good for you.  A hormonal imbalance can cause this (which would also prevent you from becoming pregnant often) such as too much progesterone.  Fibroids can cause this.  What investigation have they done for the reason you bleed all year long except for brief bouts of stopping?  Blood work?  Anything?  I'd go back to the doctor and work on that aspect.  Pregnancy will come after this is resolved.  Probably not before or during.  I would go back to the doctor that said it was abnormal and begin to work on why this bleeding is occurring and how to stop it.  good luck and let us know it goes
