Pain after pap fibroid

Ok...I guess I have fibroids.  I was just dx and awaiting an ultrasound.  I have some of the digestive (constipation) and urination symptoms and some heavy bleeding.  But really I thought it was age and diet.  Dr said uterus is the size of a person who is 10 weeks pregnant.

Well, my question is the paid after my pelvic exam.  I wonder if the pelvic pain is from the uterine exam.  My pain is abdominal in the pelvic region.  Is this normal?

Btw I am 40.  135 lbs
