You don't have to have children to have POP (there are multiple causes) but in your case I no longer feel that is what is going on with the additional info you've provided. I'm going to have administration transfer your post to another forum, I'm hopeful you can get more insight that I can provide. I'm sure your ob-gyn is going to want to pursue this further and will let you know if you need a colonoscopy.
Good luck, I hope you get to the bottom of this.

Thanks so much. I will check it out with my OB-GYN. However, I have other elements which worry me. I have been to an OB-GYN a month ago, she did an ultrasound and a pelvic exam (manual), and found that my largest fibroid cyst is about 9 cm. She also said she's worried by my thickened endometer, and recommended hysterectomy.
As for POP...I want to specify that I never had any children.
Today, i definitely had a bloody stool (dark in color), and when I wiped myself, I used a cotton ball as well and clearly saw blood on it. As I write this, I have a burning sensation in my anus, and had a clear discomfort all day. I also had last week, when I had a series of bouts of diarrhea and occasional vomiting.
I am so scared that things are very serious. I checked symptoms for hemmorhoids, anal/colon cancer, irritable colon...and I really don't know where to start. Medical services are complicated and quite bad in my country which makes my anxiety even bigger.
I read that an OB-GYN could have a pap-like procedure in the anus too...I can barely wait for Monday so I might start calling clinics and doctors and make appointments.
It is possible that you have a rectocele, a type of pelvic organ prolapse but I feel you need to make sure there isn't something else going on because of the blood. Any type of POP can make you feel like there is a mass, please read this article to see if anything fits.

Please seek counsel with you gynecologist for a pelvic exam, you will be told if you need a colonscopy or not after that exam.
good luck, if it is determined that you have POP, please send any questions you have to the pelvic organ prolapse forum and I'll answer them there.
