Vaginal bump

I have had a small pea sized lump on my left outer labia-right next to the crease of where the inner thigh meets the vaginal area- for about a year. It's never been painful so I assumed it was just a mole--but recently it's turned red, looking similar to a pimple without the whitehead. I popped it and the only thing that came out was a little blood. I cleaned it with an alcohol pad. Now it is tender in the area. I have not been sexually active in years. What could it be? Thank you.

It might be an ingrown hair. It doesnt sound that bad. Because if it was it shouldve gotten worst everyday. But you should still go get checked.
