I'm scared!

So I have this tiny little bump that is on the upper left of my labia, its on the outside and it kinda looks like a blister but it won't pop, it dosent hurt, nor itch. Also when I shave over it, it doesnt pop nor bleed or anything. I've been tanning for about a month and I didnt know if that has anything to do with it. Please tell me this isnt a sign of herpes. I've been sexally active with my boyfriend for 5 months now, but he gave blood not too long ago and he said he was fine. I had a yeast infection around the first of janurary and ever since then i have been scared.

Herpes cannot be detected in the blood, it is a skin disease. Your symptoms sound like Herpes. No fret! I;ve had it for many years and all the pics and info make it sound WAY worse than it really is. I don't even think about it now. In the first year you'll be stressed about it and maybe see some symtoms but those usually go away and you'l be fine. Get the blister tested now with a dr for herpes because once it is gone you won't be able to be test until another outbreak. I suggest getting tested so you don't infect other partners, but from my experience I never think about it because after my first bump (which my dr was 95% sure wasn't herpes and thought I was being too perfectionistic) I haven't seen anything and it's really a benign disease for most people so don't stress.

The yeast infection is part of the first wave of infection. I remember being in your shoes and I'm here to tell you, a mere 4 years later, DON'T WORRY if your positive...you won't even notice stuff after a year.

Not true. Herpes can be detected by blood around three months after exposure, and the tests are actually type specific (between HSV1 and HSV2).

A herpes lesion that turns into a blister will hurt. You would not be able to shave over it without stinging pain... so I doubt you have herpes. But the previous post is correct, if you did have it, it is a benign skin condition that 20% of the population have (and that's only genital herpes, almost 50% of people have oral herpes).
