Miscarriage?

I'm 19 years old and about a week and a half ago I got what I thought was my period, (my periods have always been all over the place and quite irregular). It started with a brownish discharge for a couple of days and then i began bleeding, but it was slightly lighter than my period would usually be, also i didn't experience much discomfort (cramps) which isn't usual for me. The bleeding lasted about 6 days then stopped yesterday and i had sex with my boyfriend last night, three hours later i had severe abdominal cramps and felt light headed and weak i started bleeding very heavily and a large blood clot fell onto the bathroom floor as soon as i undressed. I have continued to bleed ever since but it has calmed down a lot. (I should also point out that I only lost my virginity in the last couple of months, im not sure if this is relevant or not.) As far as i am aware i was and am not pregnant but these symptoms seem to indicate a miscarriage? Any advice would be appreciated and i would rather not go to a doctor if possible.

ok good for you for not having unproteced sex but if you used a condom and it didnt break your chances are slim to none and yes no contraception is 100% thats why you use two. and its still not very common to get pregnant while on bc (if used correctly)

call your doctor and get a blood test

First of all, thank you for replying but i would like to point out the following:
I see now that the sentence you referred to was confusing but what I meant was I  may have been pregnant without realising. I am well aware of the fact that you have to be pregnant in order to have a miscarriage.

Also for the record i have never had unprotected sex but no method of contraception is 100% foolproof.

But thank you for replying anyway, I probably should consult a doctor as I am still bleeding.

you said "as far as i am aware i was and am not pregnant" "but thes symptoms seem to indicate a miscarriage" you have to be pregnant to have a miscarriage so that made not sense

as for what your having who knows call the doctor its better to be safe than sorry

and you might very well have been pregnant if your having unprotected sex
