Is it consistent, heavy bleeding or just spotting?  If it's just some blood without a constant, heavy flow, it's normal for a first time.  You may bleed for 2-3 days.  If it is currently very heavy or gets heavier or doesn't stop after that time period, then seek medical attention.

Hello there,

If you have been bleeding for 4 hours, in my opinion you need medical
help. You say " I wanted to stop them".  My suggestion is have a family
member or a friend you trust who can drive take you to the hospital.
If you're still bleeding, you might even consider calling an ambulance.
But bleeding for 4 hours sounds serious. You need medical help.
