Help..?

I'm now 15 years old, about to be 16. No possibility I could be pregnant and also not on birth control or any other medicines besides the PMS/Menstrual Relief you can buy at local stores. I've been having my period for about 4 and 1/2 years now. It's still VERY irregular.   I get it about two times a month...ALMOST every month, (I might get it only once a month..occasionally), but it's usually twice a month. I also usually pass blood clots with each cycle, clots ranging in size each time. Periods also are usually painful with bad cramps that make me want to crawl up in bed and stay there. I've already told my mom about all of this.

Caffeine can cause strong cramps and cysts.  So you might want to try staying away from a lot of caffeine if you take it to see if that helps.  If that doesn't help then you might want to get checked for cysts although your body will normally rid itself of them on it's own.

I would suggest talking to a doctor. Sometimes a woman, through no abnormal problems, can have excruciatingly painful periods. Many times birth control can help, so you may want to look into a low hormone form of birth control. However, sometimes, it happens that part of a uterus could be formed oddly which could cause problems. I wouldn't worry too much, because the former seems to be more common than the latter. However, it may be worth going to a gynecologist to get checked out.
