About a month since i got the shot i got what i believe is my period but accompanied by strange pain and flesh like blood clots. The pain is not like cramps it feels as though its coming from the opening of my vagina and i am worries that i could have gotten pregnamt and now miscarried, i have never been pregnant or have had a.late period. Hello,
Depo shots are usually started after confirming the status of pregnancy. It is less likely to be miscarriage and looks like side effects of the depo shots. However if you are apprehensive regarding the status of pregnancy, you can check the pregnancy status by getting your serum HCG done.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Hi jea2691,

Perhaps it would be helpful to make an appointment with your family
doctor to figure out what's going on. I wish you the best. Eve
