need some advice..please..

So all of this started with my vagina burning when I wipe. then it started to turn into an itch and I had white on my vagina. I diagnosed myself with a yeast infection and bought monistat 1, felt immediate relief the first night and day, then the itch continued, I waited 7 days to see if it would clear up and I had the white cottage cheese like discharge so I bought monistat 7. I am now on day 3 of monistat 7 and also on my period so it is tough to tell if the discharge has cleared up but it looks like it might, but I am itching like crazy. I am trying to keep the area aired out, but its like if there is any type of movement or touching, I get the itchy feeling. I have scheduled an appointment but cannot see a doctor until next week, what should I do??

Edit------ Also, I am 100% sure it is not an STD.

I've actually had the same thing. It burned to pee, and it itched and everything. It's not a STD at all, it's just a urine infection. Honestly, it's not bad. Go see a doctor and they'll give a medicine that can help in the next 2 days. It's not as bad as it seems, but really, it's very common. Usually, every woman will at least get this once or twice in there life.
