pain inside vaginal wall

I have been having pain on the left hand side of my vaginal wall for a few months now.  The pain waxes and wains but has never gone away since it started in August.  I have just about had it with my ob-gyn because it seems as if the office doesn't have their **** together.  I have been into see her twice now and she says she sees nothing but an irritated area.  After being on numerous antiobiotics, for which nothing helped, I went to see a urogynecologist the beginning of October.  She said I had blisters which looked like herpes.  She cultured and ran blood work and everything has come back negative.  I was mortified when she told me this as I have been married and faithful for 21 years.  I know my husband has as well.  He even went and had testing just to make me feel better and everything was negative.   I went back to see my ob-gyn this past Monday who was supposed to be doing my pap smear early, (on account of a phone call urging her to do so from the other doc) because that doctor said she saw changes on my cervix.  Well, low and behold I found out of Friday that my doc just did a culture of the area and not the damn pap smear!  I cannot believe this.  She did say that she thought that my vaginal tissue looked a little thin.  She gave me estrogen creme to put on 2 times daily.  I could only do it the first night and couldn't sleep because it irritated it so badly.  I am totally at a loss for this and am feeling very depressed about it.  Why can't somebody just tell me what the hell this is.  I have never had any problems in this area before and I have no idea what this could be.  The pain radiates into my abdomen just above my pubic bone on the left hand side.  Lastly,  I also had a PICC line in my arm with intravenous antibiotics for several months before this started because I had Lyme disease.  This nightmare began about 5 days after having the PICC line pulled.  Does anybody have any ideas?  Thanks for listening, I am just so despondent about this today and it hurts constantly.

I'm 19 and I've been having them for 2-3 months now. And I don't think I'm getting into menopause anytime soon. I know I don't have herpes I got tested.
