hi pennyc80 i am going through the same as you, my period stopped when i was 21 and has been giving me trouble since now. i would get all the symptoms; cramps, sore nipples/breast but still nothing pertaining to period. Now i am 30 and still going through it, i would say approximately 8/9 years for me. I was kinda cool not having it but went to doctor, i did hormonal test levels like AnnieBroke said it boil up to i am going through Pre-mature Menopause( doctor said it happens to young women at a very young age and to some cases there is a possibility it could be reverse). yea i know it sounds scary...i have not really sink it in me that is what is going on i have no kids yet :) and i am hoping that i will have one some day. Now i am on the pill from last year for the first time, i was shock to see i spotted blood and had a regular period for 5 days which my usual period use to be. the reason why is that is because the pill consist some sort of oestrogen to help the ovaries function very well to send message to your brain. So i advice you do check the doctor again and ask them to go on the pill which will kinda help in a way to feel more secure about your body as a woman, i know what you are going through ok. hope i help/or let me know what's the update.

YES, THEY SAID I HAD HORMONAL IMBALANCE. THEY PLACED ME ON PRIMOLUT WHICH MADE ME BLEED 1 WEEK. AFTER THAT, I GOT SCARED AND STOPPED IT. SINCE THEN, THE NEXT ONE I CONSULTED SAID I HAD CLOSED WOMB AND HE NEEDED TO OPERATE, BUT HE WAS QUITE SHADY, REFUSING TO EXPLAIN THINGS TO ME. INSISTING I PAY AND COME UNDER THE KNIFE. THAT WAS LAST YEAR NOV. SINCE THEN, NOTHING.

CAN YOU PLS ADVISE?
