Anyone ever have an out of body experience (O.B.E.) or a near death experience (N.D.E.),

Are you just talking about the deadly experience caused by health conditions or diseases? Or you are mentioning something caused by accidents? A few years ago, I had an experience which felt like I had an adrenalin rush due to a certain cause. I could remember how deadly it was to release my breathe. I felt I was going down and down.

Hey Spidey - My paternal Latvian Grandmother had O.B.E.'s.  She was a very psychic/spiritual woman.  She could actually read tea leaves and cards (regular deck of cards, not tarot cards). She never used her gifts for a living and never discussed them with us grandkids until we were older and was reluctant even then.  Unfortunately, I did not get to hear many stories straight from her, most were passed down.

I have experienced a few things that may fit your question. I dissolved into the cosmos and expanded across space and time. I could see any time or place, just by thinking of it. Because I was everywhere and everything, I felt no need to focus on one small aspect of me. I did test it though, I went to see my mother 2000 miles away. She was driving down a highway. I asked later to see if that is where she was at the time and she said, yes. I went to India and visited an Ashram, of which I took my physical body there years later to to see if I had seen the real thing and I had. These experiences happened in meditation.

I have had perpetual de ja vu, over an entire day. I have also dreamed of events that came to pass many times.

I was watching for UFO's on the mountain one night, not on my own, I was very skeptical. Large flashes of lights moved around the mountain about 50-100 ft above my head. The others had their explanations of the event, but I found no need to explain it, I just felt a sense of awe and didn't want to ruin it with reason, logic, or fantastical explainations.

I have felt as though a being from another dimension entered my body and was communicating with me through emotions and spiritual insights. I cannot explain this event, as no words were communicated and unless someone feels something themselves, and explanation would simply be words.

Of all my metaphysical experience, I believe the time/space travel fits closest to you question. This event made me realize all things are happening at once. There is no separation of future, past and this moment. All perceptions outside of the ONE are mere ideas, thoughts and feelings.

This lead me to the study of the !Kung. When the men go out for weeks to hunt giraffe, the women will begin to prepare for processing the meet as soon as an animal is killed. By the time the men show up with the meat, the women have everything in order. Mother's intuition is another good example. Our faith in, and religion of, science has made us less able to tap into these phenomenon. I am glad I experienced some of these things, because I had formed too much faith in science and was losing my ancient roots. Logic and reason are very limited and we find our "facts" seem to change as new discoveries are uncovered. The earth is not flat, the sun doesn't revolve around the earth, eggs are good/bad for you, depending on the science of the decade. I believe in mystery, all questions will never be answered and each answer will form 2 new questions. Even the Big Bang requires faith. Einstein declared it is a mathematical impossibility for there not to be a creative force in the Universe, to believe it is all random chance required too much faith in the unknown for Einstien accept that theory. The very idea of an accidental Big Bang and evolution goes directly against the laws of physics. Having a source of the first motion actually fits science more than the idea of chaos theory and survival of the fittest. Without motion, how could there be and equal and opposite reaction? If the Universe is eternal, then what defines time and space? Maybe God is Eternal Energy, or the Light of the World, or Love that binds, no matter what you call the Eternal, it is still beyond human comprehension. The mind is too limited to fit all things in it. The mind is but a cell in the cosmic consciousness that makes all things One thing. That thing IS, therefore I AM.

Hey Spider ;))   I have never had any sort of metaphysical experience of any kind or sort. I think it is just not in my dna. No lightning bolt moments or otherwordly connections either. I often wish that I had one though but it is just not me.
