The Perfect Husband?!
ok i know we sorta touchd base on this in the "if it were legal.." thread but that was more of a yes or no type of response question. And in light of Vicuser's thread about the perfect wife, i thought we should do a "perfect husband" thread. What do you think the Perfect Husband should be like?
I dont believe in perfect anything, but i think the ideal husband should:
Let his wife know he loves her no matter what, stnad by her and RESPECT her always.
He wouldnt take her for granted and realize how hard she has worked- whether it be a job/carreer or at home with the kids. I dont think most men realize how much work and STRESS a woman endures "Just taking care of the kids and housework" . It can be very chaotic and stressful when you have little ones to care for i.e. anywhere from feeding, changing an infant all day, to playing referree to fighting children, to fixing broken toys, wiping tears and snotty noses, cleaning up spilled juice or elmers glue wiped o the walls, floor and ceiling, lol. Unclogging plugged toilets from a "lost" lego, or cleaning mud tracked in from little shoes. Screaming inconsolable kids, tantruming kids etc. Then cooking their meals, washing their clothes, picking up after them but most of all loving them. A typical day in a mom's life who is doing the primary child care can be very challenging (and rewading as well) and then you add in a thousand other mishaps (dog chewing up toys or having an accident on the floor) to the washing machine breaking etc. I just dont think a typical man REALIZES the things mothers do everyday for their children and aroudn the home. So I think the "perfect husband" would APPRECIATE all the things his wife does in this respect alone
and i cant finish this right now, I have to go feed my 3 yr old, now LOL

The perfect husband would keep to the wedding vows. make her feel like a woman and do his best to be a man. To be by her side ,share in all they do and to make hear as happy as he can.
Perfect husband, Think of the 1st guy you loved when you wereyoung ans your afraid of lossing him. Now flash forward (Even if' it's"not him) You marry and think you have all these wonderful things coming . You have 2 children for that unconditional love yov have been waiting for. HE STARTS DRINKING!!!! You take the kids do the best you can in there hardest years teenagers who don't listen . Just when you get them to 18 alive. They don't do drugs, they havn't got in major trouble. the 3 Musketeers of sorts. Then It happens YOU ARE ALONE. No one in the fridge. to go to the movies,no one to share your happiness. But they are happy finding good men themsellves. Starting lives of there own And you are truly happy for them, (i did my job) I stop to think of happened to my ex-------My kids think he is dead, his whole famly of 13 B+S. Even his own mom calls me,thinking I might know anything. I start praying + praying 6 miserable later I hear he has 1+!/2 living in a half way house. Soon I start getting alot of letters of why he whants to be wih me. Anyway we got togrther + he has never been better. Everyday he tells what he is thinking He never takes me tor granted + everynight we talk for an hour. See I didn't play the whole tape through I"ve never been happier but do not like to burden with all my pain + now Lupuse? Yes we talk about it but not how I do wih you.....So now I don't regreat anything in my life because life is change + God helped me Get from A to B TO C..

A little over a year ago I was trying to figure out how to make my wife a better wife. I wanted from her the same thing you are looking for in “the perfect husband”. I bought and audio book call “the care and feeding of a husband” thinking that it might “help her learn”. I listened to it first and realized that I was not doing my part as a husband and if I wanted her to treat me the way you mentioned, I must show her that I needed her, desired her and appreciated all she does for me, without expecting anything in return.
Doing so I was met with a lot of “I know what you want” and “what have you done wrong “comments which hurt but were true because we guys so many times are nice only to get our way. I shared the book with her and she understood, no it still not the way I would like it all the time but the harder I try, the more I see she tries.
So my point was, if any woman treats her man with appreciation, affection, and approval. If she leads by example and she might be surprised to find he becomes that perfect husband. Ok, if she picked poorly to begin with this might not work, but it is worth the try.

I'm sorry ladies but there is just not enough of me to go around. Next year I will have been married 50 years. It doesn't take much more than trying to be there for each other in every way every day. The perfect man would be much too boring as would be the perfect wife. There will be bad days and good days. The important thing is to let your partner know that you appreciate everything he/she does for you and that despite any arguments and mood swings, that you love him/her very much. It doesn't have to be wining and dining or flowers and candy every day. Just the words,"I love you," spoken honestly says more than all the gifts you can ever give. A kiss out of nowhere and when you are asked why just tell your partner that you felt like it.

He has to be good looking.....like beautiful.
He has to have all his hair.
He has to shave every day.
He has to dress real nice.
He has to have a perfect body with muscles and a 6 pak belly.
He has to have a thick one.
He has to work and have a super great income if not born wealthy.
He has to have water sports including a yacht, boat and other toys for wife to enjoy.
He has to allow the wife to enjoy her career also.
He can't expect her to accept TV sports.
He would never want to go to bars or strip clubs.
He would always love taking the wife out to eat because she can't cook al the time, or her would do most of the cooking.
He would never leave clothing on the floor.
He would never leave the hairs on the sink.
He would bathe/shower twice a day and keep groomed throughout the day.
He would automatically clean/pick up or organize things around the house.
He would never assume that the clothes have to be laundered by the wife, and would start a wash without asking.....better yet, bring it to the launderer.
He would keep his and her vehicle immaculate.
He would insist that the wife drive a brand new expensive vehicle while he does too.
He would hire a gardnerer to keep up the yard and pitch in.
He would love to entertain without the wife being expected to do it all.
He would be a GREAT dancer.
He would love to take the wife dancing all the time.....almost every night.
He'd never wake the wife up for sex.
He would be a great dad and step dad.
He'd make sure we'd never go without.
He'd be in good health.
He'd smile.
He'd make wife laugh and feel good about herself.
He'd love her till the end.
He'd love...........love............love..........that woman unconditionally.
Is that too much to ask?

VicUser your wife is a very lucky lady.My husband is very much like you.He doesn't always get around to fixing things around the house as fast as he would like too,but he works 2 full time jobs now,since I had to quit mine to stay at home and raise my step daughters children.I have tried to become a 'Mrs.fix-it" to try and alleviate some of that burden from him.
I think what makes my husband so wonderful is that he always lets me know how much he appreciates me.He says things like I could never do what you have to do in a day and I'm so lucky to have you.He's always right there by my side when things are rough and when I feel as though I can't handle it anymore he lets me take a back seat for a while and takes the lead.On a crazy day when the kids are cranky and running wild and I haven't even run a brush through my hair yet,and I'm still in my baggy sweat clothes covered in whatever the kids had for breakfast and lunch he'll still walk in the door and look straight into my eyes and say something like you're so pretty.He's my best friend.
