Point well taken... I don't want to trae one addiction for another! No PT yet... which will be difficult because I use all my energy to work more than 40 hrs a week.. and i am exhausted... besides, i do not bend where most ppl bend.. pain won't tolderate it..
Your tolerance is going up and that is why you are taking more. I read your other post and you said your pain clinic is offering methadone? If you want off these pills i would highly suggest you taper off them and find something non narcotic. Methadone has its place but i would exhaust all other avenues before even thinking about it. Are you doing any physical therapy for your pain problem?
I did at first... but after three years it got to where 4 pills a day did not always ease the pain.. so I started taking more when I really couldn't stand it.. I am supposed to take no more than 4 pills a day but I have taken as many as 7 pills in one day, on really bad days.. I always take the 4 pills a day.. This causes me to run out early some months but so far the doctor has refilled them.. Sometimes I think it would be better to live with the pain than worry about all the side effects of the drug... but when that pain hits, I usually cave! Guess I like moving about..
What you are experiencing is withdrawals. Your body becomes dependent on it.......Did you take it as prescribed and just for pain?
