10 days off SUBOXONE!!! Whoop whoop!

I've been off subs for 10 whole days!!! I haven't had any physical symptoms in about 3-4 days! I actually got 6 solid hours of sleep!! I'm actually sleeping decent again! I decided to not use in sleep aid prescriptions. The melatonin I think it working pretty good again! My energy is coming back and I've started the gym again. I feel pretty amazing.  If I can get a few more extra hours of sleep a night I'll be good to go!! I'm still sneezing like crazy which is super annoying but I'll take it!!

Avik7, thanks for the reply and for the information. I too was on Subs and they saved my life. I've read way to many negative posts about subs so its good to read a successful one. Best of luck to you and your husband.

II think I'll be fine with that aftercare. We've already made a backup plan if I'm noy feeling fullfilled! I've been in serious therapy for 5 1/2 years and have wonderful tools to move on!

Morning and congrats on 10 days!!!  Just so you know I am STILL sneezing after 75 days but youre right...if thats the only symptom then take it and be happy with it!!  Sounds like you have some aftercare set up....do you think that will be enough for you?  Different things work for all of us but I have found that I need to be involved in something everyday to help me!  I really need the support!!  If you find that 1-2 times a month isnt enough please seek out  other forms of aftercare!  It great you have your husband along side of you!!!  Thats a big help as long as you both stay clean!!!!  Keep on posting and let us know how you are getting on!!!

I was on subs for 5 1/2 years. I went from 2 to 1 strips on my own and stayed bat way for a good while. Then I went from 1 to none in maybe 23 days. I can't knock subs. I'm alive and clean. That's what counts! I DO  have AFTERCARE set up!! It's very important to me. The place I went to rehab after you graduate to be on subs you have to be a part of an polite recovery group and see your one on one counselor to what they see fit. Once your off subs you don't have to go anymore but it is open to alumni if you will, which is every 2 weeks.  So I'll do that and I decided to keep seeing my counselor 1 to 2 times a month or more of I need it! My hubsnd will be tapering when I feel like I'm stable enough! He will do the same aftercare as me!

Good for you. I haven't read any of your prior posts and I am wondering how long you were on Suboxone and how did you taper? Its nice to hear some positive comments about Suboxone because this site is usually fairly negative about this drug.

Yay!!! Good for you that's so awesome!!! I sneezed and had a cough for a good 6 weeks after I quit oxycodone. I think it's all part of the detox. The sleep will really help you heal faster too! Have you started your aftercare yet?
