48 hours clean - how much longer

Hi All
I was taking percocet - 10 mg - about 8-10 pills a day. Overall I have been addicted for about 3 years but it has progressed just since January when I lost my brother. I am now at just about the 48 hour clean mark. I feel like crap. No energy, hot/cold, lower back and leg pain, very weak. I did not taper - I was not strong enough so I am going c/t. My doctor gave me tramadol so I have been using that in small quantities and it has been allowing me to sleep, keeping the RLS away and kept the diahrrea away. I am obviously just using a very small dose so I don't trade one addiction for another. She said just to take it when things get to bad. I am taking it 3 times a day and once the worst of this is over I will just taper that down. I just want to make sure I am prolonging the percocet withdrawal. I am guessing I am not because of how weak tramadol is compared to percocet. I am only going to use the tamadol until the worst is over (so I am hoping after day 5/6) and then done. How much longer will I feel this way?

I dont know anything about that drug, but honestly I am trying to treat side effects individually.  Starting with the mental pain.  I told myself weeks before i quit c/t that its all for the better, going to save tons of money, be healthier, etc.. Then now i researched what to do on here and im following.  I bought nyquil to sleep, 5 hr energy for daytime, and as bad as it sounds, im making drinks here n there to help other side effects/withdrawals..

STay away from the tram, that is some awful crap to get off of, and it sneaks up on you.  Be careful.  Congrats to you, you are doing great so far and just be careful with the tram.

Yes...I agree. You won't find too many Tramadol supporters here.  It's strength is relative to the person using it. Obviously you have your doctor guiding you and that's great! You're very wise to limit the length of time you use,too. Good luck with this and let us know if you need help with anything. And,yes,can you limit the Tram to under three per day?

Run far far away from the tramadol. Thy stuff is more he'll to come off of than any opiate I've ever used. Please be careful. I'm not a doctor but I'd advise using a benzo for the next couple of days as suggested in the thomas recipe. I beg you to not use the tramadol. Just trust me on this one.

be careful with the tram.  it will grab ahold quick.  i would take less than three.  maybe cut the pills in half and take that.  speaking from experience.  good luck to you.
