The other day realized hadn't seen you post in awhile.

Hi there, welcome back, so glad to know that you didn't have to go cold turkey. As someone who was on a high dose of methadone ( now at 4 mgs ) I can tell you that it is a lot easier to taper when you are at the higher doses, you can actually taper more without feeling the effects, it's when you get to the lower doses like 20-30 you really need to slow your taper down. I have been tapering for nearly 3 years now so it's been one long slow ride but I am doing well, not experiencing any withdrawal at all. Please feel free to private message me if you feel like it. Good luck with your taper and please keep us posted. Take care!

Right on demon, I have loved your attitude from the beginning and you are listening to advice. I think you have a realistic plan and will beat this thing. Keep on rockin, a new life is coming, one day at a time. With God on our side, what can defeat us?
