2 months today

Today is two months off Methadone! I finally have my life back,4 long years of pain meds.I think clearly,I dont wake in a needy haze fighting deppression.I know if I'm feeling bad in the morning it's normal and I have a choice to deal with it without drugs.There's still the cronic pain but I can deal with it.There are alturnitives for me,life style changes,get back to the things that I can do .and recognize the physical limitations I have.

keep on keeping on..that is great!...u are doing something that can be more difficult than other narcs..half life of methadone and sub can make the wds drag out...but u r sounding positive and hanging on

Congrats, 2 months is fantastic and reading about methadone on here, it sounds  awful to come off of. You have done great.
