Day 14 0mg of methadone

Well last night was alot easier then the night before. My back was still hurting but not as bad. I was able to get 8 hours of sleep last night and I feel great today. My back is a little sore still but nothing unbareable. Sleep is starting to come a little easier and the mood swings are not near as bad. For everyone that is following me THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING HERE FOR ME! I still have a sore in my mouth but it is getting smaller and smaller everyday. My energy level is iffy at this point it comes and goes but I have been able to drink a energy shot or two and be able to function.

I am 13 days clean off of methadone I didn't start methadone to get off anything I just liked the high and was hiding pain. I got up to about 60 mg a day at one time but the past two years a cut down to 2.5mg then quit. How long till you think the main withdrawals will be over? Also I've been taking a couple narco tens to help with the withdrawal and I am feeling bad about it any thoughts on doing it this way.  I want to be fully clean but can't let myself be down for to long  due to work. Any help appreciated. I've been ready many posts and find it helpful.

hi, glad you slept better last night, you have done so well!! its very hard to get off methadone, takes a lot of strength and will power, you should be very proud, your getting your life back, take care, god bless

Congrats to both of you! Remember that feeling you have right now next time an urge to use comes up and remember how crappy it is to go through withdrawals. My methadone detox seemed to last forever and they had me taking anti-depressants on top and it made it even worse. Talk about no sleep. Must have been 6 months. Beat Methadone and you got it made!
