anyone know what drugs make a person act this way?

my bf becomes very angry, almost in a rage, over little things. he yells, curses, his eyes turn red and he foams at the mouth. i know he is doing drugs but he says he is not. he recently lost his job and has no ambition to do ANYTHING. what type of drugs make a person act this way?

My first thought is cocaine, but like justsaynotodrugs said, most drugs will alter your moods. That's part of it being classified as a drug. Keep in mind that in addition to the illegal ones a drug like alcohol can alter your moods as you described too.

Now if he's very adamant about not using drugs it is possible that there are medical conditions that causing such a problem. I know of someone who had slight brain damage in a car accident and became completely unable to control his rage. Not suggesting that he's brain damaged, but it's theoretically possible there could be other causes for it.

I also think you need to try talking to him. If he won't talk to you about a drug problem you need to try talking to him about this anger issue that is causing you suffering.

              Most drugs will make you do that when withdrawing sounds like pain pills or nerve pills but it could be a few more.
