great job cork. i bet you feel a ton better than you did 50 days ago
80 days is awesome . . . . Keep it up . . . it gets better and better (sometimes not quite as fast as we'd like), but it will :) Hang in there!
You've done very well and I'm really happy you're away from that TOXIN!
So proud of you!
Hi Cork , 80 days is great . feels good to be free again .
Since i quit pain pills about 6 months ago I feel better with sunny days . I just don't like cold dark days . So it may be a normal detox thing . Thankful i live in So.California where most days are bright and sunny. Ron
Congrats to you!!! That's awesome and a big inspiration to me. I can't wait till I can say that :)
80 days is huge.....congrats!
Thanks everyone! yes, feeling MUCH better than 50 days ago. The body is an amazing thing, regenerating brain cells (well, maybe not so many for me!), muscles, energy, mood. Some little signs of spring are appearing, so rebirth with this and for all of us is happening. To the new people, you WILL feel better, moods even out, cravings lessen. Give yourself time and know you will feel cruddy for a while, but like a cold/flu, it passes. And definitely get your aftercare for support. I've done both a therapist and found a good AA meeting for women. Just go even when you don't feel great, sit and listen, talk if you want. Most of the time, I just sit, listen, and take it all in. Makes you feel like you are not alone in it. One woman told me that she's gone when she least feels like it, and that day heard the thing she needed to hear right then. That happened to me last week. Just want to keep on going on this path...
Congratulations, every day is a gift and once you get up there in the higher numbers it's truely amazing. Keep looking forward!!
Congratulations on 80 days ! The blues will come and go . It did for me too . Try and stay busy and with more time this will be less and less .. Take care Jimmy
