9 months today!!!

Question

I have finally understood and accept the concept of surrender. Surrender to the fact that i am in fact mot only an addict but an alcoholic. That was tuff for me. I have also accepted the " just for today" concept. In the beginning of this journey that was difficult to understand, but i get it. I love life and what my future holds. For all the new comers... Remember it can be done... Keep moving forward. Its so worth it!!

Brandi!! This has been one of the best post I have ever read out here since 2012. WAY-TO-GO..It is just so awesome how much we keep learning and how many changes have to be made as we grow. When I first heard that one about Surrendering to the Process..What the heck did that mean???Well even at 21-22 Months I keep having to do this. I am SO proud of YOU and that YOU have that OPEN MIND to Learn and except things as they process through more & more..Great Job!!!

Awesome!  I say to myself on a regular basis whenever I am struggling with something hard- lately, physical pain"I surrender."  I repeat it over and over again and I eventually find peace within.  Priceless.
