90 hours in- without Vics

I am 90 hours in without using any Norco and still haven't experienced the stomach cramps/ diarrhea. Could I not get it? Am I almost outta the w/d stage?

Just finished reading your posts. I too was using 8 to 10 Norco 10s a day for well over a year. I went cold turkey 29 days ago ( tomorrow is the big 30), and I have to say that there is definately someone watching over you...My first 4 days of detox were hell. So, I'm happy to learn that you seemed to have avoided that experience. From this point on you should be safe. Congrats on getting clean, and I'm glad you're feeling better. Keep posting.

I had an amazing day! Went to bathroom, and felt really well all around. Hoping the good days out weigh the bad. 12 hour shift tmrw will keep me busy. Keepin busy most important part of my journey. Took kids to chuck e cheese for dinner and stayed for 3 hours. It was a great day! Thank you Jesus and thank you ALL!

Hey there,

I was happy to read that the pain is subsiding a bit.  I was also glad to see that Snakejones posted here as well...she's an RN and really knows her stuff.

Feel better and keep us posted on how you're doing...

Sandy :)

Mom had to work, I am waiting until someone gets home before I take any. However the pain has eased up so I am thankful for that. Seem to have less energy today. Work tomorrow it will help so much. Music is keeping me sane.

Hi there---So sorry you've got a kingsize bellyache. All poop jokes aside, it's just plain rotten to have a intestine FOS and can't go. If you haven't drunk the mag citrate yet, please call your family doctor first and tell Doc the symptoms before you do that. The reason is that it might be a serious condition other than/in addition to the FOS problem (especially since you have endometriosis, which on occasion can attack the intestines), and you could do yourself great harm. I'll be here on and off all day after my orthopedic postop appointment at 1, and check in on you. If you do take the mag citrate, have someone there who can help you if you get faint, as mag citrate is really strong, and the cramps can be rotten. Hang in there, and batten down the hatches for the poop typhoon!
