Good choice! The bloody stools are also alarming. Doesn't necessary have to indicate something horrifying, but most DEFINITELY needs looked at. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers! Make sure you tell the staff the truth about your T1 usage. It's always tough to admit the real numbers, but the more accurate info they have, the better they will be able to help you hon.
Thanks, Im going to the ER, not only do I feel horrible from withdrawal, I do't like the lower dull abdomen pain Im feeling, and I've been having bloody stools for the last month or so on and off, mostly at night, and I have had runs the last 2 days, I will let you all know when Im back hopefully everything is ok, and I did not to to much damage, that you Nursegirl, and thanks to everyone else who shared advice and concern!! this message board is awesome!!

I wouldn't play the "odds" game with your health. Of course you're scared, but don't let fear allow you to put this off any longer. IF you DO have something going on, the sooner it's detected and diagnosed, the better your chances are for a positive outcome.
Please let us know how you're doing okay? I would advise going to the ER.
I've been thinking of going to the er because I feel so horrible, I am terrified of being told I have liver damage even though the side where the liver is doesn't hurt, what are the odds of me not having liver damage? :(
Yeah I gotta say I'm with Nursegirl 100%. Please don't wait. Seek medical care immediately. Concerned for you.

I also think it is very screwed up this can get tylenol 1 with 8mg of codeine here in canada, there is a pharmacy I found that would seek 300 ever few days, some pharmacies use to tun me down if I went to frequent this guys is welcoming the sales.
I know and you know whats screwed up, I am only doing because of the pain in the lower abdomen area, Im terrified I may have caused irreversible damage, don't you have to have like yellow patches along with pain to have cased permanent damage, I am hoping any damage I have caused is reversible as I want out of this addiction, thanks for the advice
ok I was wondering if detox affect respiratory system because I NEVER had this smokers caught only when I am not on pills so I was wondering if it was all in my head, I do also have depression, and I am taking... and may spell these wrong, Setraline for depression, Librium for anxiety, Carbmaxapine for slight bi polar and trazadone for sleep.
I was diagnosed with a small case of Asthma, my doctor told me I need to do this Cold Turkey, I did get addicted to this wen I broke my ribs years ago, it was only insane the last year as I was only taking them to avoid withdrawal, my doctor only told me if It gets really bad to go to an emergency room, it's day one, feel horrible, but commuted on doing this, Im very worried about dame I mage have caused, I did a blood test today, I tried weening off it never works if I have them I take them, my doctor knows that apparently. Im still smoking though caught doesn't bother me, I'll just caught I need to keep busy some how. The Leg pain is getting annoying and freest trips to the bathroom is also annoying, I give it a week, although it's going to be a slow week :(
Hey There and Welcome-
Good for you for wanting to take your life back from the pills. I would second the advice above but also add that taking 130 T1's a day is an INSANE amount of acetominophen. Taken at that high a dose over a period of time can do serious damage to your liver. I would highly suggest seeing a doc about the pain you are experiencing. Withdrawal pain is one thing, but seeing as you are still taking the pills it should not be so great as the opiate (codeine) is still in your system. Please see a doc and get some blood work done to check your liver function. This could be very serious, especially if you combine the tylenol with alcohol. Please take good care of you- you are the only you that there is and you deserve to be happy and healthy.

The coughing, sneezing, and sniffling can all be a part of withdrawal. Detox affects the respiratory tract and smoking just exacerbates it. I am also a smoker and had a wicked cough and scratchy throat during withdrawal. Great job on deciding to reclaim you life! Do you have any plans for support and aftercare such as NA/AA meetings or counseling? It might be something worth looking into. Even after the physical withdrawals are over we have to totally relearn how to think and live. Stick around this site and keep posting. Let us know how you are doing and what symptoms you are having. We can offer suggestions that might help ease your pain a little as well as offer support and encouragement. Please take care and keep your head up. You can do this!!
OK...cough....so just wondering, do you have asthma? I definatley didn't cough during w/d, sneezed like a freak, but not coughing. Now I see why your concerned about the increase in smoking. That makes sense. 130 Tylenol 1s (8mg codeine per) seems awfully high. We are not supposed to give taper advice on this site, but I am actually wondering with this one, if maybe you should see a dr regarding tapering them to the lowest amount you can handle, then jumping? I quit subs, not the opiates, of which is different. I'm wondering also, "pain your getting when you cough or stretch" is that b/c it's in your stomach? Like too much codeine and acetametaphin? Are you worried you've damaged something?
Repost this question, to put it back on the top of the list, b/c I'm sure it just got missed b/c of all the "drama" this morning going on. There are a lot of people on here that can really help with this, I'm sure! Codeine is codeine, wether it's in opiates, cough syrup or a needle!
and yes, the T1's with 8mg of codeine
yeah I meant Cough, typo, thats the problem I don't mind smoking more, I have this Cough when Im in withdrawal, thanks the reply/advice greatly appreciated!!
I'm not sure what you mean by "caught"....if the worse your going to do is smoke more when you quit...then smoke more! (I do! lol) Oh Well! If that's the worst of my addictions, so be it! One vice at a time! :)
I'm not well versed in the Tylenol One's, but I assume they have codeine in them, right? So it's going to be a w/d just like with any other opiate?
There will be more people on here soon that will have correct advice and be able to help you with what you need to do to get better. I detoxed off the subs, so mine was a bit different...but I believe 5/6 days of feeling fluish, and there a Thomas Taper that you definitely need to find on this sight that helps tremendously with opiate withdrawal!
Blessings to you.
