Congrats Brian on a year clean. As everyone has said, you bring so much to the table here. Thanks for all you do on MH and thanks for the support you have given me.
1 Year.. woohoo. Congrats. Andrew
HEY Brian....dude I new you could do this congrats on a yr clean you have worked hard for your sobriety but like a true marine you never gave up the fight.....you and I go way back on this forum together I watched you walk off the pills more then once and you watched me walk off the methadone you have been there for me in my time of need last augest when I was having my metldown you where up in the wee hrs of the night to pick up the pieces and keep me from using and I am indebted to you forever for that thanks for being part of my recovery and thanks for all your help here on the forum may God bless you and your family abundantly your friend Mark
Thats awesome. One year! Like I told ibtryin looking forward to that year. Curios are the cravings real easy now to avoid or is it just as hard as the beginning. .
It's been a year already? I put the tracker up over 11 months ago and forgot I had it.
IBK posted in the middle of the night?!!! I thought once bedtime came at 7 pm you didn't get up til the rooster crowed?! Thank you so much for thinking of me!
Thank you all for the congrats and very kind words. It honestly means so much to me. I know for a fact I wouldn't be where I'm at if it weren't for everyone on the forum. I remember how alone I felt before I found mh so I know how impossible sobriety feels. There is always someone around to hold your hand and walk you through a simple question or even a very difficult event in your life. There's always someone to share a laugh with or always someone to just listen when we need to vent. I've definitely made some lifelong friends that I owe my life to. If every addict could stumble across this forum and this group of people their chance at sobriety would skyrocket.
We just walked in the door from an 8 hour drive so I'm gonna cut this short but I will post more on here later.
Thanks again everyone!
Congratulations!!!! You are a big inspiration here, clearly!!! God bless you and keep up the kindness and fantastic strength!!!
He is on the road, texting and driving. He will be home soon!! I already ate my dinner, and his and Vicki's. Oh well!!
