BMDAD IS 1 Year Clean TODAY!!!!!

I was so excited for this day to come that I am posting this in the middle of the night.

Brian, I am so proud of you for this milestone and even more proud to call you my friend. Thank you for always being there.

You are proof that there is life after drugs. Good days and bad, you don’t give up.  And after the withdrawal you have stuck around the community to help others. You are kind to the new members who are struggling and there with a helping hand or a soft shoulder. You are important to this community and we are all lucky to have you here.

So, as DS always says, Guard Up and keep walking the walk!!

Congrats and Big Hugs.................

It's been a year already? I put the tracker up over 11 months ago and forgot I had it.

IBK posted in the middle of the night?!!! I thought once bedtime came at 7 pm you didn't get up til the rooster crowed?! Thank you so much for thinking of me!

Thank you all for the congrats and very kind words. It honestly means so much to me. I know for a fact I wouldn't be where I'm at if it weren't for everyone on the forum. I remember how alone I felt before I found mh so I know how impossible sobriety feels. There is always someone around to hold your hand and walk you through a simple question or even a very difficult event in your life. There's always someone to share a laugh with or always someone to just listen when we need to vent. I've definitely made some lifelong friends that I owe my life to. If every addict could stumble across this forum and this group of people their chance at sobriety would skyrocket.

We just walked in the door from an 8 hour drive so I'm gonna cut this short but I will post more on here later.

Thanks again everyone!
