All right, this is bothering the heck out of me.
WHY is Easter falling in the middle of March this year? Isn't it always in April? What, are they using the Hebraic Calendar to set the date of his birth? It just doesn't make sense!
This is becoming an obsession (no joke). Every time someone says "Happy Easter", THIS is what's coming to mind.

Umm...think this post has gotten a bit too controversial. I respect your religious beliefs...but I don't think this is the appropriate place to be preaching. I don't want to offend anyone...but because of my beliefs...I feel offended by this post. I don't think it belongs in this forum.
Happy Easter folks...and again...I don't mean to offend...but you have to realize that there are people from ALL walks of life here and many people ARE offended when HE becomes the topic of conversation. Especially when it's done in the form of preaching to others.

Soundv like someone needs to resd the bible!!! Sod forgives us of our sins.. He also will not judge us for what we have been forgivin of.. Also Amen is gods why of saying that you agree... I do not think you should be hard on anyone for the way they beleive. I happen to love my Lord.....

I am very sorry that I did that , SO much anger and I have tried to come here once only to be told nasty things so I left, I am in desperate need of help , I have a Hydro habbit that keeps getting worse im scared to death of WD and I have 7 pills to last till tuesday, I know to alot of you that might be alot but when you have been taking 10-12 a day its not , IM scared and trying to take care of my step children with my wife for Easter , I have no idea what to do , We dont have any money untill next week so no Vits and stuff till then, Once again im truly sorry I come here and read this and it makes my heart warm to hear that one day I might be able to do this

God did not make us addicts we made are selves addicts and you are wrong God was there every single time i popped a pill my mouth heart cried out to him and his cried for me just like a father that watches his child self destruct he is always there waiting for us to fall into him and give it all to him you dont have to believe all of this but i pray someday your heart will be open to him he is waiting for you with out him to you really think i would be here with all i did to my body no i dont always understand his plan for me but he has one for each of us even you! and at times when life has been hard for me i get angry at him but I KNOW I cannot all out of his grace through his blood I am saved no matter what i do I might stray at times im human that is why God had to send his son here to die for us we can never come close to the glory of God only through Jesus Christ if this insults you please look into your heart and ask your self why God created us to want him and only him but we sometimes dont understand those cravings so we look to other things to fill us up yes I am a addict and a Christian! and the beauty is God still loves me!! Good Bless I will never give up on the lost just as my Lord never gives up on me!

"heroin" - If your wondering why Amen...all that means is that "I agree" with what was said. I think everyone who posted to you, would love to hear you say that one day also.
You can have all the peace, comfort, and love the He will give to you, only if you sincerly ask Him from your heart...you would be supprised on how much strenght He will give you...not to metion, why would you want to gamble being seperated from God for all of eterinty?

You're right - a lot of us weren't thinking about God when we were using. That's part of the problem and why it is so important for those of us who believe to make sure that we acknowledge His presence, grace and forgiveness now as we try to become and stay sober. God does want us to call on him in good times as well as bad - He is here for us always. It isn't that we didn't care about God when we were using but we sure weren't putting Him first in our lives. People change. That's why we're all here - b/c we want something to change in our lives.
All of us here are struggling with addiction. We should be offering support and encouragement to each other rather than tearing each other down. Regardless of your religious beliefs, there are people here who can and will help you. All you have to do is ask.

God was right there watching me as the addictions creept in to my life.
God never made me take them, I choose to.
I am over myself...because when I was not on the pill and now, I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ right into His beautiful hands...and that is the most comforting thing to have, whether one is in bondage, or not.
Life is nothing but a vapor...and I know where I am going when I take my last breath here!

God gives a person a free will to make choices. at that time i made the wrong choices. since then i have asked his forgiveness, which he has granted. be cuse of that i stand redeemed. he paid my sin debt for me by sacrificing Himself at calvary. I have every right to post about it just as you have evry right not to read it. yet you must be seeking something cuz you keep opening a post clearly titled HE HAS RISEN. i hope you find what youare looking for and if i can help you in any way feel free to pm me.
well if the AMens make you feel like less of whatever you a feeling then go right ahead =) I have no idea why you fell that saying amen over and over is going to make these WD's any better where was God in your life when you were taking pills? I have to ask that because I can just about bet money that you wernt taking pills or shooting up or snorting and saying oh god is good amen! YOu DIDNT CARE get over yourselves! Gos doesnt go for the just call on me when times arent good im sure !

And to "heroin" everything she wrote to you, it's your choice....but can you ask yourself, how a person that is suffering respond to you with love, after you slammed her? Might want to think about that, but again, it's 100% your choice.

Jesus loves you to might ask your self why the anger no insult but if we all gave it to the Lord we wouldnt be addicts God gave us free will to believe how we want and we are born sinful creatures if you every need to talk about God I will be here we are all Gods children but some choose not to hear remeber those who live in sin shall be a slave to sin we are all sinners but if we give over to God we can be lead out of slavery I will God wants us to pray for the unsaven no insult just love
