I'm right there with you! Everytime I start to let the cravings get the best of me, I come right back here and post. I never thought when I joined here this morning that I would get so many positive, encouraging responses and feel like I'm helping people too. Hang in there! Post like crazy if you have to, to keep your mind off other things!
i hope this goes away soon i don't no how much more i can take
You are definetely not crazy! I thought the same thing. I was relieved when I read this post because I thought, this *****, but thank god I'm not alone!!! We WILL get through this.
oh thank god you have no idea how that makes me feel i thought omg am i the only one
i never have a sex drvie i hate this feeling i hope it don't last long but thank god i am not
the only one i thought i might be crazy
I am on day 1 without my Hydrocodone and am doing the exact same thing you are! I usually have 0 sex drive but at 6 this morning I found myself wanting to wake my husband up and have sex. I NEVER do that or have any desire to honestly, plus I was up sick all night and felt like complete hell and still found myself wanting to have sex. You're not alone, I promise. Ever seen the movie Rush? When the couple in the movie is going through withdrawal they have the same "symptoms" you and I are having...You can "help yourself" so to speak, but just like you said, it doesn't last long. Hang in there hun. Trust me, I'll be on here every hour or two to check in with everyone, update on myself, and check on everyone!
well have never heard anyone complaining of that side effect, but maybe because it is of a personal nature.
so it sounds like it just goes along with the anxiety and restless leg thing. why shouldn't it affect all parts of the body? i am sure that it will even out as all of your symptoms will in the days ahead. try not to dwell on it and like the cravings it may go away.
try to look at some total turnoff things or think about some real turn offs.
i am 36 and no this is my first time
Um, I have never heard of that. I am sure it is just the process of withdrawal. Everyone is different. And everyone goes through different symptoms. That one I have never heard of so I am sorry to not be of any help.
How old are you if you don't mind me asking? And is this the first time you have ever withdrawn from opiates?
