what was ur doc and dose?
Everybody is different...i was a 100 mg plus hydro user and didnt have that issue...i had the opposite and could sleep 16 hrs a day...but it was not fun cos i work...i was sooooo tired!  I hated it..had to do a rocket shot to make it out the door every morning.
hang in there..it gets better..valerian root helps me when i have a problem...if u have to ask ur dr for sumpin safe for sleep.  Sleep is important to recovery...cos we get weak without it

HI MO congrads on 11 days....your thew the worst of it now...the sleep thing can be a real mind screw its usually the last thing to return to normal and as far as giving you a time its different for everyone ...I broke a 16 1/2yr addiction to narcotics with the last 6 1/2 being on methadone so it took months for my sleep to return for most people somewhere in the vicinity of 3 to 8 weeks is considered normal ...I know this isent what you want to here
but it is the reality for most of us...there are a few things you can take melatonine works for some I found valarian root to be helpful some people swear by benadril and it is non addictive ..for me the best thing I found was a good hot soak right b/4 bed and for a wile you just got to be ok with getting 4 hrs of sleep eventually it will become 5 then 6 my record has been 7hr since I have been off methadone and 6 is the norm for me...what I wouldn't give for a solid 8 or 9hr of sleep in a row but for now I have learned that 6 is working and I wake up refreshed ...I find it better to go to bed later then to wake up at 3 in the morning you may want to adjust your bedtime accordingly ...try to just hang in there ...good luck and God bless.....Gnarly

Hey!  It takes a bit.  A few weeks at least!  Sorry.  I wish it was better news.  Everyone is different though, so you could sleep sooner than that.  A lot of it depends on how long you were on drugs.  I am over 2 months clean, and I still wake up in the middle of the night, wide awake, and it takes me a while to go back to sleep!

Good luck!  Congrats on 11 days!  That is great.  Keep up the good work.
