Can anyone tell me anything about shooting subutex while pregnant?

I'm 30 weeks pregnant and have been prescribed subutex. They werent doing anything for me so I began shooting them over a month ago. Now when i go so long without doing a shot I get sharp pains in my stomach, causing me to do another one. I'm stressing myself out over it. Do I quit now or what until after birth or what?

Hi Jane. Congrats on your lil girl! Shooting the Subtex is so risky Pills carry bacteria into your blood stream when injected this could set the lil one up for infection at 8 months pregnant it is too late to stop as your child will also go thru wd as it is when you give birth she will go thru wd. I take it your Dr. knows you are on Subtex so they are aware the lil one will be born dependent. A month is a long time to continue shooting this stuff without a Dr. being aware. I really have not much advice as I'm not a professional just a ex Junkie that has been there but to be honest everything in me wants you to tell your Dr. so you have professional support and can get tested for things that would be necessary.. I hope things turn out for you and your lil one better then they did for myself. Ask for help as you have a life now depending on you to make the right choices. I wish you and yours well. lesa

Hi Jane me again. I also have to stress the whole point of using the subtex is not to feel the euphoria that comes when doing your drug of choice your doc. Obviously your rig comes as your doc it was once mine also, you need to get rid of your rig, At this time you are still active I do not know if you went on subtex because you are pregnant our if you  were trying to get clean but you need to now seriously get some help with your addiction and get real and honest the future of you and your child depends on it. You may get away with shooting it as they expect the babe to be dependent but they are trusting that you are following the program and you are not You are a threat to the child by introducing bacteria to your blood viva the syringe. I just want to give you a heads up as of right now you are being honest here but you need to take it a step further Meetings getting rid of your rig and being honest with those around you. Please be honest with your OB as this is very dangerous to both you and the baby.  I also hope your OB knows you are on Subutex as the baby will need extra care after birth.  10356 gave you great advice so please reach out to someone about this.

...WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT WASNT DOING ANY THING FOR YOU?...they are not made to get high from...hopefully dr knows you are on subs...other wise the baby will be tested at birth and it will be taken away...if you don't give a crap about your life at least don't get the baby that is innocent to suffer...put your big girl panties on and do the right thing...
