Cocaine use

I have been a heavy cocaine user for the past 2.5 years. To the point I have bankrupted our family. I have till Jan 1 to quit or I am out of a home. I have a loving husband and two amazing children. Treatment is not an option right now ! Any other suggestions T

Well, not to overstate the obvious, but you can simply stop purchasing and taking cocaine. You don't even have to wait until January 1st, you can make that choice right now.

After that, you will want to get support. NA is your best bet. It's free. Does that all make sense?

I understand treatment facility cost alot of money but how much have you spent on your addiction in the last 2.5 years? I know myself I've spent well over 10k in one year, probably closer to 20k, I couldn't imagine a cocaine addiction. Hit the meetings, if your in a bigger city and time allows go to a couple each day if nessacary and find a GOOD sponsor. :-) best wishes

Okay, well as stated before. Get into meetings ASAP. 90 meetings in 90 days and get a sponsor.

Also, look up Addiction & the Brain in a Scientific way and see what that stuff does to the Brain and all the Chemistry thought out your Brain & Body parts. Addiction is a serious brain disease and we can not go it alone. Hit those meetings asap and get any or all support needed. Church has been a Big Blessing for me too. YOU can do it!!! Just get that SUPPORT system going. Life is SO much better Clean & Sober. Life will go bye so fast, so why waste it on being wasted and cutting your life even shorter.

why is treatment not an option? how much have you been using ?

It is not an option because of the bills I have to pay. My husband and I make too much in order to get it funded. I don't have 10,000 cash right now and I have $1000 jn bills I have to pay a month.

Hi, why is treatment not an option? Surely you don't need things to get worse. Whatever the case then, walk into an AA or NA meeting today, get a sponsor and do 90 meetings in 90 days. That saved a lot of our butts, including mine.
