Tramadol/ gabupentin

Has anyone ever heard that gabupentin helps with withdrawals from tramadol? A friend of mine was on tram for 5 years and withdrew using gabupentin and she said she felt little to mo withdrawal symptoms! Anyone know or have experience with this??

Yes, it helped my WD, but everyone is different.  It needs to only be used under doctor supervision.  No getting it from a friend and dosing however you "think" will work!

I'm confused..  you're asking the same questions as you did from before.  I thought you were trying to taper from the trams?  I don't understand your questions.  I know tramadol really screwed up my memory.. are you still trying to taper?

I have heard alot of people say it helps.  Why don't you quit the pills and give it a try.Then your question will finally be answered.You won't know if you never quit.
