Day 21

Day 21 from opiates. My energy is pretty low. I lost about 20 lbs since I started this. I pretty much stopped eating. Over the last couple days my body was not happy with me. So I've been eating more frequent smaller meals. I sleep 5 hours a night without a sleep aid. About a week ago I did a couple Molly's with a friend. Wow did that make my anxiety multiply over the next few days. Now is when I'm starting to get my brain back. I haven't smoked a cig since the day before yesterday. I'm exhausted. But still pushing forward.

Detoxing/withdrawal has a learning curve for sure.  Eat what you can...I craved ice cream (just what I needed LOL) and cream of wheat!

Thank you. I'm physically exhausted. My anxiety is getting better. Lol sorry I have to laugh at myself about the Molly's. The person that gave them to me didn't understand I was detoxing. I still am. I find myself craving certain foods. I'm tired of being tired. It's frustrating sometimes.

Your body is struggling to reset itself and the molly's were probably not the wisest choice!  I think you figured that one out.  Keep eating it does help with the energy levels.  Are you drinking enough liquids??  Hydration is so important to keeping well as you detox.  Day 21 is big!  Get some protein down if you can.  Some say that ensure or boost high protein drinks have helped.

What happened to me at day 21 was my brain was still talking to me and I let it talk me into relapsing.  LOL...nice way to say I caved.  I am back and finally can say clean 90 days.  Tell you brain to shut up and keep strong.

Stay strong, you can do this.  21 days is great!  Be proud of how much strength you have shown so far!  When that energy starts to come back, you will really know that YOU brought it back and your strength allowed your body to heal.
