I am glad you are doing better and making it threw detox, dope sick is the worse. But remember that is only detox. I don't know your story beyond detox, but there was a lot more that came with that addiction. I was a huge lortab, vicodin, hydrocodone user and I did my detox back in April and I am still fighting for my life. Remember you became addicted longer than 3 days of detox and you still have a long road a head of you. You are doing great getting through the detox and you had admitted you had a problem. Please like others suggest get some aftercare, figure out what got you started, what your triggers are, anxiety levels, and work on those reasons so that you don;t use them again.
Congrats on the start of your journey back!
Yay!!!! So happy for you that you are on the tail end of detox and withdrawals! Now it is time for good aftercare. You might want to look into a good addiction therapist or NA meetings. You need to be able to talk about all of this and come clean with yourself so you can stay clean and sober all around, you know? You are doing a fantastic job! Stay strong & Stay clean!
*hugs*
Good for you!!!! Remember you are not at the end of your addiction, just at the end of your detox. Try and get into an after care program or go to NA meetings. Keep up the good work.
