Under normal circumstances I am not the most active person, so during detox I was a slug. Always keep in mind what you're doing and how far you've come. Your energy will come back. Congrats on day 3.
That's why the protein shakes are great! I didn't want to eat at all! But drinking a shake isn't like eating! LOL they are good for you are really seem to help with the fatigue! Good luck!
I am hanging in there... Work is killing me I am so glad I am off Wednesday. I have to pick up protein shakes on the way home I forgot about them, seeing as I have no appetite whatsoever.
Oh yeah..i recall......that was the worst. It was like some one "unplugged" me. I pretended I was in some bizzare bootcamp and jsut needed to weather the storm... I took walks. ( I forced it)... then i got on my mountain bike (low impact).....the hardest part was getting out of the car,,, lol. I felt like I was 90 years old.
hot baths and walks....
now i'm playing 2-3 hours of tournament level volleyball every week and lifting weights again...so yes,,,,give it time...
Try Super B Complex vitamin and a short walk. MAKE yourself do it. Just a short one. Or do some small things around the house. Just ten minutes at a time. That's what I did to build some strength. My fatigue was awful! This really helped me a lot! At first I didn't think I could make it the length of my house and up and down 4 steps, but it got easier on about day 4 or 5. Just try these things, and maybe it will help you too. You have nothing to lose!
Yes, fatigue is very common! You are getting through this! For me, day 3 was one of the toughest! What helped me is to drink high protein drinks. I like Ensure! The other thing is that as hard as it seems, just get up and do something! Get outside for a short walk! Just pick a small task! For me, just sitting or laying on my couch made the fatigue worse! Make sure you are taking B vitamins! You should start feeling better in another day or so! Stay strong! You are doing well!! All the best!
Yep and i did cry, quite often! This is when you have to force yourself to get up, shower, walk around your house, down the block etc. Make this the last time in wd. You can do this!
