Day 5 and we're going out!

Hubby & I are on day 5 and we are going to a friends for dinner! We had a great day and I plan on having a great nite! I haven't had a sober dinner with friends in soooo long... I hope people still like me, the REAL me!! :) Yay for going out, YAY for day 5, YAY for no pills!! xoxoxo

When I called my peeps and said no more it was unreal I felt like someone other than me made the phone call !  I asked God to take the controls but that was scary .  Glad you had a sober date!

Had a great evening! My dealer called me when we were out, I answered and told him to lose my number! That was hard.. As soon as I saw that # come up I swear my stomach jumped into my throat!! I was proud to say no... FIRST TIME EVER!! God did part of me want to say yes tho if not for anything else but a good nights sleep! :/ I did go and pick up some Melatonin tho, gonna try that tonight, hopefully it helps! I'm so excited for day 6 tomorrow, its the longest I've ever made it before. Dinner sober was awesome, its almost like you can actually taste your food!! :D Hang in there Jaybird. Just remember how much easier it gets as the days go by! That's all that is keeping me going... I know its gonna get easier! Thanks to all for your kind words!! Congratulations to you and your husband on 5 days.  I am so glad that you are feeling good enough to go for dinner.  Keep doing what you are doing and keep posting.  You are doing great!

Sounds like you and the hubby are doing awesome!  I remember my first fifth day clean and can't wait to get there again!  I'm now on day 3 and feeling pretty good except for sluggishness and can't sleep!   I feel fine but still want a pill occasionally!  Definetely not going that route again.....still not sure why I used again anyway!
