Day 5 feel amazing!!

Day 5 and i feel amazing!!!! Even though i cant sleep that well. One great thing about that is i get to look at the stars at night and get to see the sun come up every morning. It is so beautiful. The past year with my addiction i forgot all the natural things that make you happy and im happy. Also got to have tea and coffee with my ex gal. Seeing her also made things so great. I feel alive!! Thank you all for helping me through this phase i know i am gonna be great! I know this is the begining but i feel in my heart and mind i will make it! Thanks again for the support and ill keep posting updates!

Its weird kyle its like i still have a ton of energynow even with lack of sleep. I actually went grocery shopping and cleaned and did stuff. Before i would just wanna set down and be lame. I dont wanna be lame. I dont wanna be on pills or drugs even drink. Eventually ill sleep good and i look forward to it. Patience is something im learning from this experience. As far as aftercare my ultimate goal is to get away from here and move to where my kids are. A fresh start no drugs no alcohal just gonna be agreat dad to my 2 boys.
I cant wait! Thanks again you guys. Your motivation helps so much. You all are amazing!

Good morning...You are doing great, and have a very positive and unique approach to not sleeping. That is one of the last pieces that fall in to place after detox, and not stressing about it will make your personal process much easier. You will find that when you're clean you can deal with lack of sleep and get on with the day. Congrats, and keep posting.
