Today is the Day...1 Month Clean!

Well...today is the day that I am officially 1 month clean...free from the hydros! I'm not going to say I feel wonderful...because I don't, but my mind is clearing up and I'm thinking of all the things I want to be doing which is an improvement! Now if only my body would follow in my minds footsteps, I would be all set! :) I still think of the pills quite frequently, but try to keep myself busy doing anything, even getting on here to try to distract myself.  Hoping that the thoughts start to subside with time. I've been fighting a nasty head and chest cold for the past week...so I'm hoping that might be playing a part in my physical weakness and lack of energy.  I want to thank everyone here who has provided me with support and kindness over the longest month of my life...it has meant everything to me.

Well congrats. I had a nasty hydrocodone,vicodin,zydone,oxy habit back in the late 90's that was a *****, unfortunately I switched to methadone, which is what I'm currently kicking on day 5 so good for u. Keep up the good fight. One month, wow that can't come fast enough for me.

This Saturday I am going to drive an hour and a half to get my 30 day chip from the folks at the treatment center I just left :)
It hasn't flown by and it hasn't been easy but I am happy to be happy and clean.

Wow Jenny, 1 month is huge.  I know you are feeling far from wonderful yet especially when you are fighting a cold.
