LOL just read the title to this thread. 9 days that is really great, congrats!
Hi Krissy,
that is great to hear! how many days has it been now since you have been off oxy? I am just dreading when I am going to get off the hydrocodone. I know I wont want to live. Did you quit cold turkey? I am planning on tapering so I hope it helps!
Congrats on the 9 days!!! I cant wait to be able to say that!!! All of these stories help me so much to read and prepare myself! I am so ready to be off all of this!!!! So keep posting cause the inspiration it gives is wonderful!!!! :)
Thank you, even before the pills I still never slept a lot,but 1-2 hrs sure makes the no energy thing hard to fight. ://
Haha thank you Hun,and you will be soon!!!youre doing great! Xox
WTG girl.....i want to be where you are.....youre doing great keep up the good work....
congrats on your 9 days! sleep will be tough to come by for a while, get it when you can even if it is a nap during the day. Eventually you will start to string 4-5 hours together and that will turn in to 6 and then 7 and then a "normal" full 8 hours (who decided that to get 8 hrs is the ideal anyways??). I'm somewhere around 65 days in and I'm just getting 8 hrs, don't get me wrong I get a night here or there it's only 5 - but it doesn't bother me any more. I'm still dealing with energy issues but when I force myself to get going I get really going. I eventually just get sick of laying around and get after it. Keep your eye on the prize, you're doing great
Tim
Oh and still Energy. I think that's the absolute worst...I use to be like the energizer bunny, now I'm very slow moving. I hope that goes away soon.
I still can't sleep and eating is very minimal. The rls have gotten a lot better, but still come on at night. Some depression, but getting outside and playing with the kids helps. We put the Christmas tree up today, that was a happy feeling in my heart. Everyday is getting a little better.
I'm glad you're feeling better, Krissy. Do you have any w/d symptoms? You are having a much easier time of it than I did...good fo you! Keep going..
