Coming off 7 days

Hi there

Okay I am grateful for this site as I do refer to it often. Currently I am day 1.5 of not doing cocaine. Not sure why I do it. But my question is what can I expect after a 7day binge. I did about a half g to whole a day. Not a lot but still too much. Today I am couched and very unmotivated.

Note: I did sleep and eat somewhat. Also I have been doing cocaine regularly for the past few years. That means at
4 -5 times a month.

I feel like hell on so many levels. And am so tired, I have moved from my bed to couch. Dealing with pre-binge depression caused by a failed relationship and career.

Good times!

Thanks all, any kind but direct advice would be helpful. No one knows about this.

Well you will probably crash fairly hard, having injested 7 grams this week. That means sleepy, cranky, irritable and depressed to the max. These feelings of depression cause you to use to get back "up" again mentally. You are caught in viscous cycle. Its a dangerous game which has been known to lead to sudden cardiac arrhythmias and death even in the youngest of users. Break the cycle now by dealing with your underlying issue of your pre binge depression. Seek council with a good addiction psychologist, go to meetings and stay close here.  If you're using it IV, you need a detox center.  Good luck and keep going! Others have done it, why not you? You deserve to be free!

Hello to you and welcome to the forum~

Sounds like you are familiar with reading here and we're glad you posted and joined us!  As you know, addiction is progressive....and until we decide enough is enough....and then make the changes....it will consume us.

It's great that you have almost 2 days clean!!  That's where it starts....and to ensure staying clean....it's important to get rid of any addictive drugs we have in our homes.  Then we have to find someone we can talk to that will understand our addiction.  Some choose an addiction counselor, some use meetings like AA or NA, some use Celebrate Recovery through a church and some seek other aftercare options.  It's SUPER important to at least seek something that supports you.  When we mask the pain in our life with a substance, we need to learn to deal with real feelings and get some support from someone that understands.
I hope you will keep posting and let us know how you're doing.
Addiction never goes backwards....we cannot return to "how it was"....though our addictive brains tell us we can.  Reach out for some kind of support and it will lighten your load and give you the love and encouragement you need....to get thru failed relationships, loss of a job, or whatever the life situation is that we try to numb with drugs.
Keep on keepin on....we'll be hear to help and listen.~
