will buprenorphine and naloxone show up positive on a 10 panel drug test in a lab
I have recently completed inpatient treatment for opiates. I was detoxed with bup and urine tested 12days later. It was a dip test on a strip that specifically tested for bupinorphine and still came up positive for bup even though it had been 12 days since my last dose. So i know for a fact that there is a cheap quick dip test . Good luck
I took 1 and 1/2 8mg subutex this morning. I had bought a home drug test before I went for interview. Everything tested neg. on 12 panel drug test, including oxycodone and opiates. Basically the temp service used the same kind of test. Kinda scared me, I was expecting saliva test. I used restroom before I got there, took me forever to go! Then I just barely gave them enough! Everything turned out well, I just want everyone to know that in my case, bupes do not show as opiates.
I passed, actually it was a urine test, not saliva. Showed no opiates or bupes. So I guess its true, bupes do not show as opiates.
thanks a lot, have you ever taken a test through a staffing service?
from all i have read online the usual tests used do not show it as an opiate, BUT there was a new test developed that does show it.
it is a roll of the dice as to whether this company uses the new test.
imo, honesty is always the best policy. chances are they won't even know what buprenorphine is if you write it down, ESPECIALLY if you are on any other anti depressants, etc. maybe write down some vitamins, motrin, any other script you have and put the bup in the middle of those.
Does anyone have any experience taking a drug screen with a temp agency? just don't know if I should tell them if I have a prescription for the buprenorphine or not. I know if I don't tell them up front and it shows up, it can affect me bad, and if they find out, the same. I don't know what to do. Can someone please help me?
the part that is going to get you is when you are asked if you are on any medications. do you tell the truth and hope the test doesn't show it or tell the truth up front?????
Has anyone ever taken a drug test for Staffing Solutions in Tennessee? Wondering how their drug testing works.
Thank you. I have worried so much about this even though I have a script. I guess its the stigma that is attached to it!
Hi :)
As far as I know, Buprenorphine will not show up as an opiate positive in a standard drug panel. It must be specifically tested for which most employers don't do. However, if it is a government or military job, they will.
