8 days clean after a relapse..

Ok guys, my dumb *** relapsed... I know,  stupid right?? Anyways, today is day 8 and unlike last time my withdraws weren't as bad as last time,  and at times my dose was higher than before. But tonight was wierd, i was in a fog all week and not sleeping hardly at all as we all know thats just part of it...bit this time im done..no matter what....i hope....ok back to my story, tonight all of a sudden its like ive just snapped out of withdraw, I have energy all of a sudden and want to be active,  ive been forcing myself to eat and drink alot of gatorade, and taking 5 hour energy. Is this normal? Could I really be coming out on the other side just suddenly,  im not sure if i will sleep but my rls is gone and i literally just snapped out of this.... creeps me out. Earlier today i was craving for a  hydro pill, but laying here watching a movie with my daughter and after it was over i got up, went outside for a smoke...came back in and...BOOM..no cravings,  fog, or lack of energy. .in fact..lot of it and if there was a pile of pills in front of me right now I wouldnt even want one....wierd right?? So my question is...has this ever happened to anyone before?? When i relapsed i was taking about 6 to 12 a day....sometimes more. Plzz feedback!! Thanks!!

Hi  relapse is not stupid  your a addict and that's what will continue to happen as long as you dont treat the disease.....ask anyone on this board with major clean time and we will all tell you the same thing   Aftercare is not optional  it is a critical part of recovery  time to step out out of your comfort zone and get to a meeting  Google N/A meetings in your area............Gnarly

I'm just done with it, might go to an aftercare..not sure tho. It's just weird that all of a sudden I feel better, last time it didnt happen like that and that is what caused my relapse possibly,  and the time frame was longer...much longer.

Franky, this is someone else's post. You would be best off starting your own post so it does not get confusing as to who is posting to whom. Go to the top of this page and hit the Post A Question button and begin your own thread. You will get responses that way. If you need help just give a shout.

Still feeling half way decent today too, slept okay last night too. I sure hope I'm over all this!! A little tired today but not much fog, I drank another 5 hr energy a few minutes ago, I hope I'll feel like I did last night soon, that was a great feeling.
