Help....so my Ex has NO idea about my little addiction problem. His new wife also has knee problems. The last time I talked to them (we all get along great) I told them I wasn't taking pain pills anymore cuz I was just dealing with the pain. Enough said there....well, she just stopped by work and handed me a big bottle of vicodin....she said she can't take them for her pain because they make her sick and she knows I've been hurting and dealing with the pain and she knows going to the doc. to get scripts is expensive (bless her heart) so she wants me to have the pills. It was really sweet of her to think of me....I really appreciate the kindness. Unfortunately I am a huge F**king pill addict and I can't take even one.
I set them in across the room on another desk. I'm afraid to even go near them.....

My pleasure! Have to throw a little humor in the mix. Its just my style. It gets me thru a bad day. Somehow theres got to be a way to turn a day around. Its a good time out here sometimes that can be good medicine itself. maybe someone out there, hasn't yet posted and is hurting for whatever reason, if I got a smile,tickled their funnybone or encouraged them to join in, then that does my heart good.It helps build up my esteem, which I medicated for many, many, years, and well used to think really **** of myself,
but slowly I am convincing myself that I'm okay,.positive strokes. We all need it.Enuf babbling.    Cathy

Never, Never, trust the ex's new woman. No matter how great "we all get along". I'm not parinoid or anything, but it was a plant, a set up to bring you down. You absolutly rock for the strength you displayed and the dignity you 86'ed the pills. Class act! keep on  truckin, you going the right way this time. I don't even know you and am sooo proud of you. girl i am glad you and your x and his wife get along...i think that is such good things for kids..unfourtunitly i try really hard to get along with mine and his new wife and she doesn't like me , and i have no idea why, SO if she were to bring me pills i woud know she put poison in them....
