praying is great and surely helps but it comes down to you. you have to go after getting straight, not just wait and let it happen. no joke, it's hard work. find some passion for quitting the pills. and aftercare is vital to staying clean. you will be in my prayers. sway
Hi,
A couple of things...you need to lose the source you are getting the pills from. Second, I think an aftercare program will help you to stay away from the drugs. You need to find out why you keep going to them as an "excuse". Find our why you think you need them to function or to numb yourself or to hide. Whatever it is, get to the bottom of it.
By aftercare I mean counseling and a good solid outside support group.
I hope this time is your last time. Keep posting and let us know how you are doing. There is always someone here to talk with and answer any questions you may have.
hi and welcome back. i am wondering if YOU really want to quit or is your hubby really wanting you to quit. until you are truely ready you wont succeed. yes it is hard!!! very hard, but it can be done. have you checked into some after care? na/aa or a therapists can help you learn to keep the focus on your sobriety, but you have to do the work...glad you made your way back here, there is support here, but you really NEED after care.
